Unknown is a valid result.
Public records can be incomplete, stale, incorrect, conflicting, or approximate. Historical documents may not describe current deployments, and a missing map record does not prove an area is camera-free.
Camera locations
Community source coordinates can identify a mapped point without establishing exact pole precision, current installation, operation, ownership, or complete area coverage. RouteFrame never converts missing records into a privacy rating.
Camera orientation
Orientation is unknown unless RouteFrame records eligible evidence, a verification method, a review date, and a confidence label. RouteFrame does not infer fields of view, capture distance, blind areas, or avoidance paths.
Contracts and costs
Public documents can include ceilings, first-year totals, recurring totals, grants, bundled services, optional products, and nonbinding quotes. Effective per-camera figures are context, not exact hardware prices or national revenue.
Street imagery
Google controls imagery coverage, date, panorama position, attribution, and availability. Imagery can predate installation, removal, relocation, or replacement and cannot prove current operation.
Routes and providers
OSRM, OpenRouteService, Google Maps, and Apple Maps can return different routes or recalculate them. RouteFrame compares ordinary driving options and does not guarantee privacy, anonymity, safety, or freedom from observation.
