[ NATIONAL FLOCK ACCOUNTABILITY WATCH ]

Government surveillance reporting.
One source-linked feed.

RouteFrame scans national and local reporting plus reviewed video channels every hour for Flock Safety and automatic license plate reader oversight, misuse, data-sharing, contract, and civil-liberties coverage. Every article card opens a RouteFrame source brief first, with one clear link to the original publisher. No copied articles and no anonymous claims.

HOW TO READ THIS FEED

Inclusion means RouteFrame validated the direct HTTPS link, publication date, headline, and approved publisher. It does not mean every allegation in a story is proven. Labels distinguish reported government actions, official findings, allegations, and policy disputes. Discovery scans direct newsroom RSS feeds coast to coast and supplements them with GDELT DOC 2.0, then RouteFrame applies its publisher allowlist and removes duplicates. Publisher thumbnails come from feed or social-image metadata when available. RouteFrame generates a labeled source card when publisher media is missing or unavailable. The scanner can miss reporting and is not a complete national archive.

[ CHOOSE A PATH ]

Start with a route. Follow the evidence.

Each path keeps documented facts, modeled scenarios, community records, and unknowns visibly separate.

01 / YOUR AREA

Search states, counties, towns, and communities.

Open mapped ALPR record context, reviewed public spending, demographics, and the limits of what each geography proves.

EXPLORE LIVE STATISTICS
02 / PUBLIC MONEY

Test a transparent cost scenario.

Change camera count, contract term, annual price, fees, grants, and population. Every output stays labeled as modeled.

OPEN THE COST ENGINE
03 / SCAN RECEIPTS

Verify how current reporting was collected.

Inspect source coverage, scan status, retained links, and the human-review boundary behind the reporting above.

CHECK THE RECEIPTS
04 / LEARN + ACT

Understand the system and ask better questions.

Learn how ALPR records work, inspect limitations, open source policy, and prepare a local public-records request.

[ PUBLIC CONTRACT INTELLIGENCE ]

What do local governments pay?

RouteFrame reviewed five official city documents with recurring annual figures. This is a transparent sample of documented public spending, not Flock Safety's complete revenue and not a price assigned to every map marker.

DOCUMENTED ANNUAL SAMPLE$454,500Recurring public spending across five city records
CAMERAS IN SAMPLE151Fixed and flex ALPR units described in source documents
WEIGHTED SAMPLE$3,010Annual contract spending per camera, including listed services
DOCUMENTED RANGE$2,625 to $3,333Annual contract spending per camera across the sample
CITY OF PALO ALTO / CALIFORNIA$52,500 / YEAR

CITY OF LANCASTER / TEXAS$54,000 / YEAR

18 cameras. About $3,000 per camera annually. 18 Falcon license plate readers.

OPEN OFFICIAL SOURCE / 2024
CITY OF MOUNTAIN VIEW / CALIFORNIA$80,000 / YEAR

24 cameras. About $3,333 per camera annually. Projected recurring cost after the first year for 24 cameras.

OPEN OFFICIAL SOURCE / 2024
CITY OF HAYWARD / CALIFORNIA$202,000 / YEAR

64 cameras. About $3,156 per camera annually. Projected annual operation of the existing 64-camera network. A separate $392,560 figure in RouteFrame's procurement records covers this same network plus a proposed 30-camera expansion and one year of data retention; the two figures describe different scopes and are not directly comparable.

READ THIS CORRECTLY

Subscriptions can bundle hardware, software, installation, cellular service, maintenance, search tools, storage, or support. A public map node does not identify its purchase order. Camera popups therefore show this sample only as cost context when the source vendor tag says Flock Safety, never as an exact local invoice.

[ PRIVACY PROTOCOL ]

What the system knows.
What it refuses to keep.

01MINIMIZED PLACE SEARCH

Suggestions begin after four characters and a brief pause. Stale requests are canceled. RouteFrame does not send every keystroke or save a search history.

02EDGE-PROXIED ROUTING

Mapping requests pass through the Cloudflare Worker, where inputs are validated, rate-limited, and cached.

03SOURCED ALPR RECORDS

The route footprint separates a public ALPR record within 55 meters, no ALPR record in loaded data, and areas that could not be evaluated. Every marker links to its public OSM source.

04LAWFUL ROUTE CONTEXT

The system compares normal driving routes. It never guarantees a camera-free route or instructs users to evade infrastructure.

[ ALPR CAMERA MAP / EXPLAINED ]

Public route intelligence.
No fake certainty.

An ALPR camera map shows publicly documented automatic license plate reader locations. RouteFrame adds route context, source attribution, data freshness, and explicit limitations so a missing record is never presented as proof of privacy.

READ THE COMPLETE ALPR CAMERA MAP GUIDE
01

What is an ALPR camera?

An automatic license plate reader captures plate identifiers from passing vehicles. Storage, access, retention, and sharing depend on the documented operator and its policies.

ALPR DEFINITION
02

Where does the map data come from?

RouteFrame loads DeFlock community records derived from OpenStreetMap. Every displayed point keeps its public OSM source link.

DATA AND SOURCES
03

What does a route footprint mean?

Real route geometry is divided into distance-weighted spans. Each span reports a nearby public record, no nearby record in loaded data, or not evaluated.

ROUTE METHODOLOGY
04

What can you do next?

Inspect the source, compare normal route alternatives, and contact the responsible municipality for policies, contracts, audits, retention, and public review.
